About Eva Air:

Eva Air are one of the youngest airlines operating in the world today. An independent airline forming part of the Evergreen Group of Taiwan.

Created as an airline in 1989, Eva Air commenced services on the 1st July 1991 and since then have successfully developed a global network linking 45 destinations throughout Asia, United States, Australia and New Zealand, as well as Europe.bSince its beginning the airline has had one of the fastest recorded growths in civil aviation history. Not only has EVA Air grown rapidly and profitability, more importantly it has grown safely, with an exemplary safety record.

Its fleet of 48 aircraft comprise six B747-400 all passenger, nine B747-400 combi and three B747-400 freighters, two B767-200s, two B767-300ER, 13 MD-11 freighters, eight A330-200s and five MD-90s. The Airline will take delivery of 12 B777-300ER aircrafts commencing end of June 2005 until June 2009 and three B777-200LRs in 2008 and 2009.

The first of the B777-300ERs debuted on the London Heathrow - Bangkok - Taipei route from 15th September 2005. EVA Air operates six flights a week from London Heathrow to Bangkok and Taipei. Currently departure days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

All EVA Air Boeing 747-400 intercontinental services offer uniquely designed Evergreen Deluxe Class cabins. High-quality passenger comfort and warm, attentive in-flight service produce many of the enhancements usually found only in business class on other airlines. Our Evergreen Deluxe Class cabins are of business-class standards, offering spacious seating with rows positioned 38 inches apart, and equipped with individual seat-back video systems providing a selection of six movies for your in-flight entertainment. Video screens can be adjusted to the optimum viewing angle and the system is operated from digital controls at the front of the armrest.

In Evergreen Deluxe Class cabins, we serve hot congee in the traditional Chinese way for breakfast, served on fine bone china.

The Premium Laurel Class cabin aboard our new A330-200 fleet is an elegant environment offering exclusive advantages. Seating is just six abreast (in a two-two-two arrangement) and each seat is a generous 61 inches from the one in front. Compared to existing Airbus A330-200s operating mid-range and short-range flights, EVA Air's Premium Laurel Class cabin seating is by far the most spacious. Here, you have unprecedented control over your seat, and can lie flat by reclining your seatback to a horizontal position.

Both headrest and bottom cushion are fully adjustable. The pneumatic lumbar support and leg rest are both electrically operated and the retractable armrest allows you to stretch, leave and return to your seat without disturbing your neighbor. You'll also find other pleasant surprises -- among them a convenient coat hook and a bottle holder.

Our Premium Laurel Class seats offer every amenity to help you keep on top of your work. On the armrest is a 110-volt 60Hz universal power outlet for notebook computers and other electronic devices -- eliminating the need for clumsy adapters. Each seat is fitted with a telephone for direct dialing to anywhere in the world and LED personal reading lamps that can be fully adjusted for luminance and lighting area.

To augment the relaxed atmosphere, paintings from renowned local artists are on display in the cabin.

Every seat is served by Panasonic Avionics Systems Corp.'s interactive IFE System 3000i, the most advanced in-flight entertainment system on the market.
